Dedicated to the memory of Randy

Randall “Randy” Paul Allen, 74, of Northridge (Dayton, OH), passed away peacefully at his home on October 22, 2024, surrounded by the love of his family and friends. Born on June 22, 1950, Randy’s journey on this earth was defined by unwavering faith, deep devotion, and an infectious joy that touched everyone he encountered. Randy was preceded in death by his father, Clifton Allen; his mother, Zella “Iky” Dunn; his brother, Richard “Rick” Allen; and sisters Jane Ann Turner, Jeannie Huff, and Janet Sandefur.

He leaves behind a loving legacy, including his devoted wife of 44 years, Janie Allen, who was not only his partner but his greatest friend. Together, they built a life filled with laughter, support, and boundless love. Which includes his children, Denis (Jen) Seibert, Janelle Phillips, and Melissa (Dave) Waizmann. His legacy will live on through his grandchildren: Dustin (Stacy) Phillips, Tyler (Katie) Collins, Taylor (Sam) Deisher, Sydney (Hank) Carter, Tony Seibert, and Alyssa Seibert, along with eight cherished great-grandchildren. Randy is also survived by his brother, Robin (Debbie) Allen, and sisters Jackie Martin, Judy Mounts, and Jill Allen.

A faithful member of Northridge Freewill Baptist Church, Randy’s warm smile and generous spirit touched the lives of many. He served as a door greeter, assisted in the sound room, and was a trustee, embodying the values of community and service that he held dear. Randy had an extraordinary gift for making friends and was deeply loved by all who knew him. Randy’s greatest joy came from his family. He was the unwavering supporter at every game and milestone, finding delight in the accomplishments of his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. His presence will be profoundly missed, yet his spirit will forever be etched in the hearts of those he loved.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Pastor Tim and the entire Northridge Freewill Baptist Church community for their support during this time. Special thanks to Hospice of Dayton for their compassionate care, which made a significant difference for both Randy and the family. Randy has also donated his body to the Wright State Anatomical Gift Program to support future Dementia research. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Northridge Freewill Baptist Church or Hospice of Dayton in Randy’s memory. Randy Allen’s legacy of love, faith, and kindness will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know him. He will be remembered not just for the moments shared, but for the love that will endure in the lives he touched.Though he may be gone from our sight, he will always be remembered in our hearts, guiding us with the love he so freely gave.
